Fire sports competition in Blansko

As we promised, here is some information about another event featuring firefighters that recently took place in the Blansko district. AGROAD simply had to be there!

On Saturday 25.5.2019 there was a minor district-level fire sports competition in which several teams of men and women took part.

They competed in the 4×100 baton race and fire attack disciplines. AGROAD provided the prizes for the winning teams as well as gifts for the smallest firefighters, who seemed very pleased with them.

The Mayor of Blansko, Ing. Bc. Jiří Crha, was also at the event as an honoured guest. He spoke highly of the excellent cooperation between the town and the volunteer firefighters, as they are always willing to provide aid when Blansko is in need.

We must also praise the organisers of the event, their helpfulness and the lovely environment at the Blansko – Dolní Lhota sports ground.

The competition was won by the men and women from SDH Obůrka, who also went away with the Mayor of Blansko’s Trophy, which is a perpetual, travelling prize. They also advanced to the Blansko district fire sports round, so congratulations to them!

It’s also worth mentioning that all of the teams fielded equipment that was in beautiful condition, which we also noticed.
